John, I know
it’s Saturday, but I wanted to take a brief moment of your time to reflect
on how perfectly suited Democrats are to seize this historic moment for
our country.

As a former prosecutor who knows a thing or two about prosecuting the case
against a corrupt criminal president, I am thrilled to see Vice President
Kamala Harris — a courtroom lawyer, an elected District Attorney, and the
Attorney General of California before serving in the U.S. Senate —
prosecuting this one.

Vice President Harris built her career and her reputation of seeking
justice by putting away sex offenders. Business fraudsters. Career
criminals. Guys like Donald Trump.

She knows his type. She’s building a campaign to win. And people are
taking action — by the millions.

If we have the resources here in California to not only defeat my opponent
Steve Garvey, but outpace the more than $6 million in Republican money
that will flood our districts to keep MAGA Mike Johnson as House Speaker,
we can not only win this election — we can deliver Kamala Harris and Tim
Walz the Democratic majorities they will need to get things done.

But that’s a big IF, because according to the most recent FEC report,
Steve Garvey outraised our campaign by $1.2 million.
