We know you wade through a ton of emails and texts to get to the ones we send you. If your inbox is anything like ours, that can seem like a serious task. So, really, we wanted to just thank you for opening this one from Ruben Gallego’s campaign.

It’s no secret that the DNC starts next Monday. It’s one of the most important weeks for fundraising of the entire campaign. And, you probably guessed it already, but you’re going to get a lot of emails and a lot of requests.

Ridiculous demands and promises, fake deadlines, outlandish claims. If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.

But here’s our promise to you: We’re not going to do that.

Everything you read here is true. Every dollar we raise will go back into winning in Arizona. Every deadline and every goal is real (including daily deadlines, because we’re working out the campaign’s cash flow on a weekly basis now).

Those goals aren’t arbitrary. They’re what we need to raise if we’re going to compete with the millions of dollars of outside spending that is flowing into Arizona right now. They’re trying to defeat us with a tidal wave of attack ads — and we don’t intend to let them.
