When I became the official Democratic nominee for KS-03 last week, I sent an email asking folks if they would personally endorse me over my GOP opponent.

I knew we had a committed team of supporters, but still, I’m in awe. The show of support was overwhelming. And frankly, it was humbling.

Now, we need to build up the momentum, and show the super PACs trying to prop up my extremist opponent that our grassroots movement is stronger than his deep-pocketed, anti-choice backers, every day of the week.

I’m proudly running for re-election on my record.

I’m proud that I helped pass a law to reduce insulin costs for seniors.

I’m proud that I secured millions of dollars for rural communities all across Kansas.

I’m proud that I passed bipartisan legislation to reduce gun violence, protect same-sex marriage rights, and strengthen our nation’s infrastructure.

If you believe that’s a record that merits another term in Congress, I hope you’ll show your support by officially backing me for re-election.
