Our staff members are participating in Soldiers' Angels volunteer opportunities and sharing their experiences to show how easy it is to get involved. So if you've been wondering about the different ways you can get involved with Soldiers' Angels and make a difference in the lives of our Service Members, Veterans, and their families, be sure to follow along from now through Be An Angel Day on your social media channel of choice! Operation: Warm Winter Update! Wow! We’re absolutely thrilled with the success of this year’s Operation: Warm Winter campaign! We’re halfway through and have already collected 1,511 items toward our 2,000-item goal! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to supporting homeless Veterans. Let’s keep the momentum going and aim to surpass our goal! From July 1 to September 30, Soldiers’ Angels is collecting warm items to be distributed directly to homeless Veterans in need through the VA Hospitals we support. Previously our annual Blanket Drive, this campaign now includes much-needed coats, hats, and gloves. Can you send a warm winter item to support homeless Veterans? Support Reaches Alaska! Soldiers' Angels recently provided lots of supplies to Anchorage, Alaska where Angel volunteers distributed the items to patients at the Anchorage VA. Items included: 200 Hygiene Kits, 192 Boxed Lunches, 80 Blankets, 1,000 pairs of socks, 40 cases of Girl Scout Cookies, 15 cases of Books-A-Million Coffee! Join the Angel Club!
