Please join us on Thursday evening, March 30th at 5:30pm for a virtual kitchen table talk with Mikie Sherrill.  She will be joined by special guest Congressman Hakeem Jeffries from NY.  With NY and NJ having the most Covid cases in the country, I envision an interesting discussion. 

I hope that you feel as lucky as I do to have elected Mikie Sherrill to congress in 2018.  She has been a tireless advocate for NJ residents--whether she is fighting for more Covid testing for residents, or PPE for our health care workers, or her endless campaign to reinstate the SALT deduction.  I think she is just what our district needs during this critical time.

The next 4.5 months until our November election won't be normal for any of us.  Political campaigns are especially hampered because we win by knocking on doors and personally talking to every voter in the district.  Those efforts will be hampered this year in NJ, so Mikie will be more reliant than ever on digital and tv ads which are the most costly in the country in our media market.  And unlike 2 years ago, she has a very well-funded opponent.

This means that we need to step up financially for Mikie, more so than even 2 years ago.  Finances in my house are tighter than ever so I'm spending every dollar wisely.  But I know that making sure that Mikie gets reelected is one of the most important ways I can spend my money.
