Fundraising during the summer is notoriously hard. Fundraising professionals call it the “summer slump.”

Chris needs our help to bounce back, so we can go into the Democratic Convention on strong footing. Our fundraising is seen as a signal of the grassroots support for Chris and the grassroots support for gun safety legislation.

Look, we’re not here trying to break records or raise money just for the sake of saying we can. But it is true that, with the general election in full swing, we need to pick up our momentum.
