I have some exciting news to share: As of this weekend, we are officially on the ballot as the Democratic nominee in Utah’s 4th district!

On Saturday, the Utah Democratic Party held its convention -- virtually, for everyone’s safety -- and I’m so grateful for the support I received. In a race like this, I’m taking nothing for granted. To everyone who participated in the convention or just supported my campaign, thank you for helping get my name on the ballot.

Now, it’s time to turn our focus to the next step ahead: The election in November.

The truth is, we have more work to do to make sure health care is affordable and accessible for all Utahns. We have to lower prescription drug prices, improve our air quality, and get our economy back on track. I’m eager to find ways to work with leaders from both parties to make progress on all these issues and more.

But we have a fight ahead of us to win again in this extremely competitive race.

On Friday, Deseret News released a poll showing this is a tied race. And on Saturday, the Republicans also held their convention, and made it clear that they’re serious about defeating me in November. 

So as we enter this new phase of our campaign (all while facing our April fundraising deadline in a few days), I’m hoping you can chip in a few dollars to kick us off on the right foot.
