Friends —

Taking direction from their corporate special interest donors
rather than listening to warnings from scientists and medical
professionals that it’s still too early, the WA Senate
Republicans announced a dangerous plan this weekend to
immediately begin reopening our state.

In their announcement, Senate Republicans argued that
"companies will regulate themselves to ensure the health of their
workers and customers during the COVID-19 outbreak" and that if
more people are exposed to coronavirus that it’s “not necessarily
a bad thing”.

This reckless move will not only set us back in our fight
against COVID-19 but will put millions of Washingtonians and
their families at risk.

That’s why our members are proud to stand alongside other
bold Democrats like Gov. Jay Inslee in his commitment to putting
the health and safety of Washingtonians first.

Help send a message that the people of WA want leaders who
put science and facts over politics by supporting our Democratic
members and candidates. Click here to rush a grassroots donation

This has certainly been a challenging time for all
Washingtonians, but thanks to strong leadership and the brave
individuals working on the frontlines to keep us safe our state
has made huge strides since the first WA case of COVID-19 was
diagnosed nearly 100 days ago.

But we are not there yet.

We know this is a hard time for everyone, including our small
businesses and working families across the state, but the results
show that trusting science and our experts is working.

That’s why we need your support to ensure our Democrats have
what they need to keep advocating on behalf of Washingtonian’s
safety — click here to chip in a grassroots donation today.

Together we can all keep doing our part to keep our
communities safe and healthy and on the road to recovery.

We’ll be in touch soon. Until then, stay healthy!

🚨Governor Inslee has issued an order to Stay Home, Stay
Healthy
( [link removed] )
🚨

We ask that you join us in following this order by
staying inside except for essential activities so we can all do
our part to flatten the curve. For the safety of our community,
candidates, and members we have canceled all in-person events for
the foreseeable future.

That means we will be relying entirely on grassroots
supporters like you to ensure our fight for WA values does not
lose momentum.
