I started Live Action as a teenager with the conviction that if people truly knew how brutal an abortion procedure was, they would reject abortion and support life.

Ever since then, Live Action’s core mission has included exposing the brutality of what happens in an abortion procedure.

Live Action took to the streets of Daytona, FL to ask beachgoers if they support this so-called "women's health" procedure that ends in the death of an innocent preborn child.

As activists working to end this mass slaughter, we must familiarize ourselves regularly with the types of abortion so we can be ready to reveal the truth to anyone we meet.

Here are the methods of abortion:

- The abortion pill, also known as chemical abortion: The abortion pill blocks progesterone, deliberately cutting off blood and nourishment for the preborn baby, causing death. This method currently makes up over 60% of abortions.

- First-trimester dilation and curettage (D&C): The use of forceful suction to dismember and extract an innocent child from the mother’s uterus.

- Second-trimester dilation and evacuation abortion (D&E): A D&E abortion is done using forceps to dismember the baby limb from the torso and crush the head for ease of removal through the cervix.

- Induction *May be done at 20 weeks*: The intentional and permanent killing of a preborn baby by killing the baby in utero by injecting a substance that causes cardiac arrest, and induces the mother’s labor to deliver her baby stillborn.

- Exsanguination: Ensuring fetal demise by exsanguination or draining blood from the innocent fetus.

Here's the bottom line: the horrific truth is that a successful abortion means a preborn child dies.

Undergoing any of the procedures also exposes the mother to many psychological and physical risks which can include death.
