I’m proud to stand with Angela Alsobrooks, the first woman to serve as Prince George’s County Executive, and the first Black woman elected to that office in Maryland history.

I believe she has the skills, experience, strength, and compassion to be an effective leader in the Senate. But the GOP is spending over $10 million to defeat her because Mitch McConnell thinks this is their best chance at flipping the Senate red.

Angela’s opponent is a “moderate” Republican who was hand-picked by Mitch McConnell. The problematic word is Republican. Why? Two more words: Supreme Court.

If Angela’s opponent takes this seat, Senate Republicans will use their majority to either block President Harris’s judicial nominees, or, EVEN WORSE, confirm Project 2025 judges and justices who will further undermine our democracy and bury our rights and freedoms in the landfill of history.

A Democratic Senate majority is the xxxxxx against an even more extreme Supreme Court.
