But that’s okay!

Friend, when I was serving in Afghanistan, my humvee hit a roadside bomb and I
got set on fire.
I get it – after all that I went through I’m no Brad Pitt and the scars on my
face make some people feel uncomfortable.
But to me and my wife my scars are evidence of my commitment to serving my
country.
Look Friend, I’ll be totally honest with you. I’m reaching out because I need
your help.

I’m Sam Brown, a Conservative Combat veteran & Purple Heart recipient running
for U.S. Senate in Nevada.
My race is one of the most competitive in the country if not THE MOST.
<[link removed]>
I’m a Christian and my faith carried through my time in Afghanistan and it’s
carried me through each day living with the injuries I sustained while serving.
I’m also a hardcore, dyed-in-the-wool, lifelong Conservative.
<[link removed]>
I’m proud of my service – but just because I can’t serve in the military
doesn’t mean I’m done.
Running for U.S. Senate is a sacrifice for my family and I, but I’ll do
whatever it takes to defend our country from those who wish to destroy it…
Whether that’s terrorists overseas or radical leftists right here at home.
My least favorite thing to do is ask good, kind-hearted Conservative folks
like you to help me out.
But it’s what I got to do if we want to win back the Senate this fall.
With humility and respect, Friend, I’m asking you to take a moment out of your
busy day to support my campaign.

SAM BROWN
<[link removed]>
<[link removed]>
Sam Brown is a Purple Heart recipient, a small businessman, and a committed
husband and father.
After graduating from West Point, he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer.
In 2008, Sam was deployed to Afghanistan.
Only four months into his deployment, Sam was on a mission when he received
word that another nearby platoon had been ambushed. Upon entering the
engagement area, a roadside bomb detonated under the fuel tank of his vehicle,
leaving him drenched in diesel and covered in flames.
Following the injuries he sustained, Sam was medically retired from the
military. During his recovery, Sam realized that God had given him a new life —
a life meant to be dedicated to a different kind of service.
Now, Sam is running to represent Nevada in the United States Senate, and he
needs your support.
