Hey – I’m reaching out because we’ve got a mid-month fundraising deadline in a few hours.

Whether we hit our goal or not will play a big part in determining how much TV ad time we reserve for this fall, how many organizers we can hire to get young people registered to vote, and how aggressively we can take the fight to our opponent.

So yes, this is a pretty important moment for us to show strong grassroots fundraising — and frankly, on the question of whether we hit our goal, right now it could go either way. My team tells me another $20 contribution from 19125 would be really helpful right now, so I’m asking if you’ll pitch in today:

I know these kinds of emails get annoying. I don’t love having to send them.

But when folks like you donate from emails like this one, that allows me to fight even harder to defend our democracy and protect abortion rights.

It allows me to rally more folks in our district around a positive vision of building an economy where working families can get ahead — and where big corporations pay their fair share.

It allows me to take the fight directly to my opponent — and draw a line in the sand that the people of OR-06 will not elect a leader who opposes abortion rights and would be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s agenda.
