Our intergenerational team at Future Coalition is proud to support organizations like Encode Justice. Encode Justice is a project of our Future Incubator program, and is the world’s first and largest youth movement for safe, equitable AI.
Encode Justice is mobilizing communities for AI aligned with human values. Their intergenerational team strives to mitigate bias and promote equitable AI systems.

They’re determined to show community members the value equitable AI has. This year they have been able to:

Host weeks of action in Washington, D.C. to lobby on Capitol Hill;

Lead AI literacy workshops for underserved youth in partnership with Chicago Youth Centers;

Issue calls for AI safeguards to be set by 2030

Testify before state legislatures and city councils in support of restrictions on public use of facial recognition technology.
