BNC candidates Nick Rubando and Morgan Harper are facing primaries tomorrow and the last slew of ballots are being cast today.

Campaigning during COVID-19 has so many challenges, candidates like Nick and Morgan are working day and night to reach as many voters as they can.

Since they can’t knock doors, hold rallies, or meet voters in person, because of social distancing, Nick and Morgan have an army of volunteers who are making phone calls and texting every voter they can reach. [[link removed]]

Each campaign has to take additional strides to educate voters about the ever-changing elections as many states have shifted their primary dates and are now holding vote-by-mail elections.

We have 26 primaries in the next 60 days alone! Four of these are state-wide Senate races. Many of the primaries scheduled for April and May have been pushed to June due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Kentucky, Charles Booker is taking on an establishment pro-Trump blue dog Democrat candidate in the primary so he can move on to challenge Mitch McConnell in the general. In Oregon, ballots will be going out for BNC candidates Doyle Canning and Mark Gamba in just three days!

COVID-19 has led to huge changes in our candidates’ campaign plans. We are all having to think on our feet and adjust to the new reality. Mail-in ballots are a new process for many voters.
