The Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Trump campaign appealed their lawsuit challenging the mail-in ballot receipt deadline in Nevada to the 9th Circuit. A lower court rejected their case.
The DNC, Arizona Democratic Party, DOJ and others filed briefs urging the U.S. Supreme Court to reject the RNC's emergency request and keep Arizona's strict proof of citizenship law blocked. The Court can now issue its ruling at any time.
