We’re exactly halfway Q3, and I’ll be frank – we're behind on our fundraising goal.

The truth is, August has been a slow month for us, and if things continue the way they’ve been going, we’re expected to fall short of our projections. That means we need to turn things around as soon as possible to ensure we get back on track so that I can continue fighting for the issues that matter to our community. That's why I'm asking for your help today.

This movement is fueled by supporters like you – and it’s going to take all hands on deck to get us to where we need to be. My finance team crunched the numbers this morning and told me that if we can raise $738 by midnight, we’ll be able to get back in position to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
