John,

From my first day in office, I’ve been driven to deliver results for Virginians and Americans nationwide. I believe a representative must look out for the people they serve, not their stock portfolios.

That’s why I introduced a bill to ban Members of Congress, their spouses, and their dependent children from trading individual stocks. No one should use their position of leadership to benefit their financial portfolios instead of their constituents.

Now, I’m happy to see the Senate is taking up this issue. The majority of Americans from both parties support my bipartisan, commonsense reform, which continues to grow in popularity.

Putting people first has always been my focus during my time in Congress, and it will remain a guiding principle as I endeavor to lead Virginia forward as its next Governor. So, I hope you’ll join my campaign with a contribution today:
