In times like these, we see how important it is to have the right leaders in charge.

We need people who will stand up for our workers, who will listen to scientists, and who will create change to improve people's lives -- both in this pandemic and beyond. That's why this November is going to be the most important election of our lifetimes.

But there's an election coming up even sooner that is critically important. On May 12th, Californians in CA-25 will vote in a special election to fill their vacant House seat. It's going to be an extremely tight race, and it's crucially important that it stays blue and that we elect Democrat Christy Smith.

Christy's race is getting a lot of attention, and the implications are enormous. The outcome of her race is going to set the tone headed into November.

Special interest groups in Washington know that, and it's why they're pouring MILLIONS of dollars into her community to bolster her Republican opponent. They're desperate to steal a win. Sound familiar?

I flipped a tough congressional district last cycle while being outspent. I know that Christy has the chops to hold this tossup seat.

But just like in my race, it's going to depend on lots of grassroots support from folks like you. It's the only way to fend off their super PAC attacks in the final weeks of this campaign.
