Friends,
During this crisis, seeing so many Americans coming together to lend a helping hand reminds me that we'll all get through this. It gives me hope. I've been looking for ways to help out in my own community, too – especially ways to support families who are struggling to get food on the table.
One of the things I'm doing is volunteering each week at a local food pantry supported by the Chester County Food Bank. This organization has been absolutely vital in providing emergency relief to our communities during the pandemic – and food banks, soup kitchens, and shelters in every corner of the country need our support more than ever right now. Here's how you can help:
Feeding America has helped provide meals for millions of children across the country, and they're working tirelessly to meet the drastically increased need for food support during this pandemic. So if you're financially able, make a donation to Feeding America today, even just a few dollars would go a long way toward helping them reach as many people as possible. Click here to give to Feeding America – any amount that feels comfortable right now – to provide meals to those in need.
Volunteers are also essential to the work of food banks across the country – and they're needed more than ever right now. If you're healthy and feel safe doing so, please click here to find your local food bank and learn how you can volunteer.
And if you need food for you or your family during this crisis, you can click here to find your local food bank and get access to the resources you need right in your neighborhood.
We're going to get through this by getting through it together. There's still work to be done, and I'm so grateful to have you by my side through it all.
Thank you and stay safe,
– Chrissy

P.S. Here's a photo of me and my daughter volunteering at the Chester County Food Bank – following safety guidelines, of course! How cute are our masks?
