Weekly Newsletter: At this dangerous moment for the world, Americans deserve to hear how Trump and Harris would address the foreign policy challenges we face.

<<<SHOULD TRUMP AND HARRIS DEBATE MORE THAN TWO TIMES BEFORE ELECTION DAY?>>> ([link removed] )

John,

Americans disagree on lots of things but there is still broad bipartisan support for America maintaining its historic alliance with Israel and assisting Ukraine in its war against Russian aggression.

But as I wrote in The Hill  this week, the selection of Tim Walz and JD Vance as vice presidential candidates throws this support into question. Both the far left and right are hopeful these picks will lead to significant shifts in U.S. foreign policy, with expectations that a Harris administration might distance itself from Israel and a Trump administration from Ukraine. However, both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have been vague about their future foreign policy intentions.

As I highlighted in the op-ed:

"Would it be too much to ask both candidates how they plan to get us through this? If they are indeed planning a radical break with Ukraine or Israel, voters deserve to know now, especially given that most Americans still support sending aid to Ukraine and believe that Israel’s war against Hamas is justified."

No Labels’ recent quarterly membership survey revealed that foreign policy is the top concern among our members. It’s clear that our community understands the critical role America plays on the global stage and is acutely aware of the growing threats we face from abroad.

Despite the importance of these topics—and the uncertainty around where the candidates stand – there is only one vice presidential debate and one presidential debate planned for the Fall. That isn’t good enough. Voters deserve to hear from these candidates more than once to understand their positions and plans fully.

Each campaign owes Americans a clear, coherent vision for how they plan to keep America safe and strong in an increasingly dangerous world. It’s why No Labels believes there needs to be more debates scheduled for this fall.

It's also why we are committed to keeping you informed about where these candidates stand, not just on foreign policy but also other critical issues like border security, the national debt, and more. This is the most important election of our lifetimes, and we will ensure you have the information you need to make an informed decision.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Best regards,

Ryan Clancy

Rep. Mike Lawler on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer ([link removed] )

By Miriam Gottfried

We are in the most precarious place since WW2 with the threats emanating from Russia, from Iran, from China in the Indo-Pacific. This is an unholy alliance that they have engaged in to undermine and destabilize the United States, Israel, and the free world, and I think the United States needs to be prepared to act.
