We’re almost halfway through August, but Summer’s not over yet. So let’s take a road trip with Angus to see the progress he’s bringing to communities across Maine before he’s up for reelection in the fall! John, will you chip in to keep gas in the RV and Angus in the Senate before our mid-month deadline at midnight?

📍Our first stop is none other than Presque Isle! Here, Angus helped bring over $600,000 in federal funding to upgrade and expand its airport to keep Maine connected with the rest of the world. We need leadership like Angus King to ensure our airports and infrastructure stay up to date.

📍Next, let’s head down to the town of Lincoln, where construction is underway for the world’s largest multi-day energy storage facility. Angus is proud to help lead the charge (no pun intended) on making renewable energy more affordable and accessible by voting to pass the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill in the Senate. This will ensure broader access to cheaper power while strengthening Lincoln’s green economy. A win-win!

📍 Hungry for lobster? Our next stop is Penobscot Bay, where many of Maine’s famous lobsters are caught and sold. Not only do these delicious crustaceans power Maine’s economy and contribute to its world renown, but they also serve as the foundation for our lobstermen and women’s livelihood. That’s why Angus King is working to support Maine’s Lobstermen and women.
