What the NIH is doing is AGAINST THE LAW!

This email is about the most effective strategy for ending U.S. government animal labs. But there's a problem. Read more to help or unsubscribe.

Taxpayer, Tonight is a very important deadline for pet owners, so I’ll get right to the point:

We’re struggling to fund our lawsuit against NIH—the world’s largest funder of animal experimentation.

Claudia’s email below told you all about it. Now I am reaching out to beg for your help before midnight.

NIH is BREAKING THE LAW! And we’re in the midst of a BATTLE.

We are battling to right this wrong. NIH is not above the law!

We are battling to obtain NIH’s photos, videos, receipts, and emails. We must EXPOSE NIH to Congress and the media!

We are battling to SAVE LIVES! Just like the Bethesda Boys, Taxpayer—you’ll read their story below.

I know inflation is rampant. I know money is tight. But if you have a few bucks to spare, I hope you will consider donating to our new lawsuit and campaigns to end NIH taxpayer-funded horror.

Every penny counts!

Taxpayer, YOU can help us fight this battle. Together, we can win.

You Give. We Win. They Survive.

Dear Taxpayer,

Do you remember the “Bethesda Boys?”

Two sweet beagle puppies held hostage in the basement of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) lab in Bethesda, Maryland. These beagles were “purpose-bred” at a puppy mill—born to be lab specimens—and sold to the NIH for fatal septic shock and blood poisoning tests.

Throats sliced open. Pneumonia pumped into their lungs.

I’m an investigator at the White Coat Waste Project (WCW). I personally uncovered the story of the “Bethesda Boys.”

Taxpayer, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is our weapon against animal testing.

This law provides the right to request records from any federal agency. It allows you and I—the taxpayers—to hold our government accountable.

Because of FOIA, I exposed the Bethesda Boys to the Washington Post and bipartisan lawmakers in Congress. I also uncovered—and requested—many other incriminating contracts for toxicity testing on dogs.

That was well over a year ago...

NIH has STILL failed to hand over the documents. NIH won't comply with federal law!

On your behalf, I’ve worked countless hours to obtain hard evidence proving NIH pays to blind beagles, poison puppies, and kill dogs (some are only 1 week old!).

NIH is engaged in ILLEGAL activity. And the stonewalling by our government has depleted my team’s legal defense budget.

Unfortunately, our FOIA requests cost THOUSANDS—and we submit dozens of FOIA requests every single month. Our average gift is only $22. And our bills are piling up!

Taxpayer, last time we sued the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture—and exposed the evidence to the press—we SHUT DOWN the fed’s largest kitten lab.

5,436 animals were killed here. Now it’s zero.

And when we sued the Dept. of Veterans Affairs—and unveiled its crimes to the court of world opinion—we CLOSED all its beagle labs.

220 dogs were abused per year. Now it’s zero.

Our new lawsuit could BREAK the BACK of NIH next!

Unlike the illegal tactics used by these rogue bureaucrats, however, WCW investigators abide by the law.

So when they charge us for our FOIA request, we pay the bill.

And when they break the law and refuse to hand over evidence, we sue them in a court of law… and we pay those bills, too.

Sadly, our Litigation Fund has been depleted.

Taxpayer, this fund determines which labs we’ll investigate and which will slither away. WCW can only expose as many animal labs as we can afford.

So, I’m hoping I can count on you to chip in with a donation to our Litigation Fund.

Your donation—even $5 (the cost of a Starbucks latte!)—help WCW investigators send more FOIA requests and win more lawsuits, which then allows us to uncover more wasteful government spending, launch more campaigns to shut down labs, and retire more survivors to loving homes.

So Taxpayer, please consider making a gift of $5, $10, $25, or even $50—whatever you can afford!—to WCW’s Litigation Fund and support ALL our life-saving campaigns to save more dogs and animals from cruel and wasteful toxicology tests inside NIH torture labs.

This is a huge opportunity, so I hope you’ll consider joining us today!

You Give. We Win. They Survive.

P.S. DEADLINE: We only have until 11:59 pm on Friday, August 16th to replenish our Litigation Fund or we must give up this lawsuit. Dogs are man’s best friend. Haven’t these forgotten puppies suffered enough? Please help before it’s too late.

Taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay $20 billion+ for wasteful government animal experiments.
