John,
The Arizona Supreme Court seems to have it out for our reproductive rights.
In the spring, they reinstated a pre-statehood ban on abortion. This barbaric law criminalized doctors, made no exceptions for rape or incest, and was first passed in 1864 – before women could even vote.
This week, SCOTUS ruled that opponents of Arizona’s abortion access ballot measure can use the language "unborn human beings" instead of "fetuses" in the voter guide — which, to be clear, is biased and medically inaccurate.
The Arizona Supreme Court is packed with ultra-conservative, anti-choice judges who have repeatedly gone after our basic freedoms. And these extremists were vetted and chosen by Kirsten’s opponent, Juan Ciscomani, when he worked as an advisor to Governor Doug Ducey.
It’s no coincidence that Ciscomani has voted against access to abortion pills and IVF, and against coverage for reproductive care in the US House.
Anti-choice extremists like Ciscomani won’t stop until abortion is banned across the country.
Together, we can elect Kirsten to this seat — so she can fight unapologetically for our reproductive rights. Will you help us flip this toss-up seat blue by chipping in now?
