The turmoil the Biden-Harris administration left behind in Afghanistan is responsible for the increased threats of terrorism worldwide, including the terrorist plot at a Taylor Swift concert in Austria. How long until these threats reach American soil?
The way Kamala Harris and Joe Biden guarantee terror via open border madness in Afghanistan after America’s 2021 evacuation provides the ideal environment: enough anarchy and lack of central Taliban control that it is once again a haven for international terrorists.
The Biden-Harris Administration is weak on our enemies and this has direct implications on how safe Americans are at home and abroad. When they trade criminals for innocents in prisoner swaps, when they abandon regions, when they leave borders open, when they lift sanctions on our enemies, there is a direct impact on your life and mine.

Driving the Week: I wrote an op-ed for the New York Post outlining how America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan has made us more vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Our decision to leave in 2021 put U.S. national security at greater risk.
It was a grave mistake to pull our soldiers out of Afghanistan. One of Biden’s Defense Department officials even stated how groups like ISIS-K and Al-Qaeda could accelerate their capability to carry out global terrorist acts. Our lack of presence in the region has led to more threats worldwide including Taylor Swift’s concerts in Austria.

Critical Context: This week, The Wall Street Journal published an article based on anonymous sources which said the U.S. is playing with the idea of granting Nicolás Maduro amnesty in exchange for his concession in the recent Venezuelan election.
My Final Word: Nicolás Maduro will pay no attention to this effort , he only responds to pressure and sanctions. Maduro is a man who stole the elections and the idea presented by The Wall Street Journal is not going to have any kind of effect. The U.S. will not get involved militarily, I don’t see that happening. I think the best option is for the opposition to see if a division in the military forces can be reached in order to make progress in the country.

Critical Context: The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas political leader, is a blow to Iran and the Supreme Leader’s reputation. My Final Word: The Biden Administration's basic mistake in dealing with the Middle East dates back to the Obama Administration. They do not understand the Iranian 'Ring of Fire' strategy against the Gulf Arab states, Israel, and the U.S. We are about to see how many fronts Iran is going to activate in this theater.

Critical Context: Ukraine saw a window of opportunity to take land in Russia and they did. As of today, Ukraine has seized approximately 390 square miles of land in the Kursk region of Russia. This comes after Trump told a story in a conversation on X with Elon Musk where he recalls telling Putin "Don’t ever do it," regarding invading Ukraine.
My Final Word: Trump’s story is another case of Trump making things up that are hard to prove or disprove. There wasn't an occasion where Trump would be able to have that conversation privately, but it fits the persona that Trump thinks he has.
