One of the FIRST responsibilities of a member of Congress is to certify the election. And on January 6th, 2021, insurrectionists fueled by the words of Donald Trump and other right-wing leaders stormed the Capitol Building violently in order to stop the members of Congress from doing their duty and certifying the 2020 election results.
According to the nonpartisan watchdog group, States United Action, Josh Loyd was one of the seven Illinois candidates on the ballot this year who inflated election conspiracies that have led to mistrust in our elections and violence against election officials across the country.
