Massive corporations have been taking advantage of the American people to
line their own pockets for years,
John. When they raise prices,
they just say it's because of inflation — yet their profits skyrocket at
the same time.
Nowhere is this more obvious than at the grocery store. And it’s
especially relevant here in Washington, where Kroger and Albertsons want
to go through with a merger that would let them gouge customers even more.
Thankfully, the Biden-Harris administration is already challenging that
deal in court. And Kamala Harris has even bigger plans to address price
gouging:

can keep up the momentum behind our movement?
VP Harris has a proven record of going after corporate greed and price
gouging and winning. But even as president, she won’t be able to do it
alone.
If we really want to tackle this issue, we’ll need Congress to act as
well. And VP Harris knows that — which is why she’s calling on Congress to
pass a federal ban on price gouging.
But as long as Mike Johnson or one of the other MAGA Republicans holds the
Speaker’s gavel, that proposal is dead on arrival. So it’s critical that
we both elect Kamala and flip the House this November.
That’s why we’re reaching out right now. Big corporate interests
(including many of the same corporations engaging in price gouging in the
first place) are lining up to help Donald Trump and his allies come back
into power. We’re counting on grassroots support to fight back and stop
them.

you’re ready to send VP Harris to the White House and elect more
progressives to Congress, will you split a donation between Kamala and
Pramila’s campaigns today?
