Today is National Airborne Day, team. As a former Army Ranger and airborne soldier himself, we’re grateful for Jason’s servant leadership, the Colorado values he brings to Congress, and the lessons he’s learned across his career.

Jason has always gone where the fight is. No matter how tough. When he served as an Army Captain, he never forgot where he came from: he was always the last to eat and the first to jump out of a plane.

When a five-term GOP congressman shamefully avoided passing gun safety legislation (and instead took money from the NRA), Jason refused to let that slide. Jason flipped the seat and helped take back the House majority in 2018.

And when Republicans didn’t have the courage to hold Donald Trump accountable, Jason stepped up. He served as an impeachment manager for Trump’s first trial and exposed the truth directly to the American people.

This election is about more than just Donald Trump. It’s about protecting our values that Jason fought to protect — like the freedom to vote, the freedom to make our own health care decisions, and the freedom for every family to thrive.

We’re working hard to bring more servant leaders like Jason to Congress who won’t back down from fighting for what’s right. Democrats only need to flip 4 seats to take back the House, and we have a real chance at winning this November if we build a big enough movement.
