Nonprofits play an important role in our County — they provide essential services to those of us that need it the most. This year, as we worked to rebuild our communities, we saw their impacts first hand.

When families faced devastation from the flooding, a coalition of 15 nonprofits called the Southeast Disaster Response Team stepped up.

They helped set up victim assistance centers, organized food deliveries, and provided mold remediation and motel stays. To this day, they are working tirelessly to help us rebuild and repair our neighborhoods.

And it’s not just in our times of crisis. Nonprofits partner with the County year-round to combat poverty, homelessness, hunger, and much more . Their selfless contributions make District Four a healthier, safer, and more equitable place to live, and we can’t thank them enough.

That’s why Supervisor Montgomery Steppe is investing in their work. With your help, we can provide more funding to the trusted organizations serving the communities we love.
