Hi John,

I had the privilege of participating in an interview last week with Arizona PBS — we had originally planned for this to be a debate, but Eli Crane, as usual, couldn’t be bothered to show up. Maybe that could be because he’s afraid to answer tough questions like, “Why don’t you live in this district?” or “Can you name one thing you’ve accomplished for rural Arizona?”

I’m running for this seat because I was raised to help others. When you grow up in a tiny town like Shonto, AZ, you quickly learn the value of putting aside your differences when you disagree with someone. Throughout my career in public service, I’ve always put getting the job done ahead of partisanship — that’s why I served alongside a Republican Vice President during my time as President of the Navajo Nation, and why all of my major accomplishments got done by working with folks across the aisle.
