It’s a very important birthday, John!

On August 16, 2022, President Joe Biden signed the largest climate investment in the world — the Inflation Reduction Act.

Now, across the country, projects are underway to make our air and water cleaner, deliver clean and affordable power, and strengthen our resilience to climate change impacts.

Learn how the Inflation Reduction Act impacts you, your community and the nation by checking out this Vital Signs article! [link removed]

There’s a lot within the Inflation Reduction Act (it’s over $350 billion of investments after all!) but here are the basics:

# Coastal communities are building climate-resilient infrastructure, improving storm water drainage and restoring wetlands and forests in the process;
# Rural communities are expanding access to renewable energy and making the switch to climate-smart agriculture;
# Urban communities are receiving funds to invest in better, cleaner public transportation like electric school buses;
# Endangered species nationwide are receiving extra protections thanks to investments in habitat restoration and conservation;

And so much more!

Take 3 minutes and read this Vital Signs article to see how communities across the U.S. are benefiting from the Inflation Reduction Act. [link removed]
