The People's Fund is building meaningful partnerships with those on the front lines of the fight for food justice. Established by Mercy For Animals in October 2020, this program works to address racial inequity in nonprofit funding.

Over the past five years, we have awarded a total of 71 grants to 29 incredible organizations and activists.

The People's Fund is not just a grantmaking program. It represents a commitment from Mercy For Animals to dismantling the unjust structures that sustain our current food system. By investing in BIPOC leaders dedicated to ending factory farming, we strive for collective liberation.
