Friend – Join us for the American Civil Liberties Union's Annual Meeting: A New Era: Foundations for the Future on Thursday, September 26, at Milwaukee Youth Arts Center. In the past year, we've become even more community centered as we navigate life as a key battleground state in the fight for democracy. As our constitutional rights continue to be threatened, we know the path forward is through community education, empowerment, and collective action. With a gathering of community partners, members, donors, board members, and staff, the ACLU of Wisconsin reflects on the foundation that has been built at the affiliate that will set us up for future success. As we look forward to the fight for democracy, civil rights, and civil liberties, we will draw on lessons learned and our agenda for the future.
Although the event is in person, a virtual option is available. Registration is required. Please RSVP by Tuesday, September 10 for in-person attendance (limited availability), or by Tuesday, September 24 for hosted virtual live stream. Hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Seating is limited. MYAC is fully accessible and street and nearby lot parking is available. You will receive more meeting details after you register. If you need registration assistance, please contact [email protected]. We hope to see you there! ACLU of Wisconsin |
