As the pandemic has continued, so has our communication with the boots on the ground, who are telling us that predators are not being dissuaded by the dangers of the virus. Traffickers or pimps are still preying on vulnerable people. Buyers may have paused momentarily in mid-March, but law enforcement is telling us that purchasing online, and on the streets continues to be in motion. And that means victims still need help.
We are responding by inviting members of the community to join us for a series of Discussion Forums to share challenges and solutions as new responses are developed to support our communities during these unprecedented times. We invite you to join us for the first of three conversation-style webinars with panelists from different areas of expertise including, but not limited to Survivor Leaders, Law Enforcement, Service Providers and Housing Coordinators.
Our staff hosts will facilitate the discussion, as our panelists not only lead with information, but also participate in conversation with attendees that have questions and solutions of their own to share.
Join us and our panelists, Mark Doty, Nick Lembo and Terrance Hopkins, for this On-the-Ground look at the Impact of COVID-19. Our scheduled panelists are coming to us from these areas of involvement. We hope you’ll join us.
