I am proud to have worked with my friend, Senator Ted Cruz, to introduce legislation to provide common-sense tax relief to help individuals in TX-13 recover from the historic wildfires that burned over 1.2 million acres earlier this year. I am committed to making sure the farmers, ranchers, and communities affected by these wildfires have every resource possible to help in their recovery, including making changes to the tax code to allow individuals with losses to focus on rebuilding their lives without worrying about the tax implications of the relief they have received. My amendment prohibiting the Biden-Harris administration from canceling major construction at Pantex was adopted on the House floor in July. I will always fight for Pantex to ensure we continue to modernize this critical plant!

The SAVE Act safeguards the fundamental right to vote by requiring proof of citizenship for participation in federal elections. Only Americans should be voting in American elections. I am proud to have supported this bill! Illegal immigrants should not be permitted to enter the United States, let alone vote in any of our elections. I am proud to have supported this bill, and it is baffling that anyone would oppose this measure, yet 198 Democrats did!

The Biden-Harris administration is pushing to have the Texas Kangaroo Rat listed as endangered, designating over 600,000 acres of private property in Texas' 13th Congressional District as protected habitat.

 
This is a blatant overreach by a woke administration that weaponizes the Endangered Species Act against hard-working Americans to advance their radical Green New Deal agenda. My amendment to block this federal land grab from happening was agreed to on the House floor.

I also joined my friend, Sean Hannity, to discuss President Trump's health following the assassination attempt. As explained in the statement at the top of this newsletter, President Trump is in good health! His ear is healing, and his spirits are better than ever. I want people to understand that we came within millimeters of President Trump being killed and our lives and history would have forever changed. Divine intervention saved President Trump's life. We must never allow something like this to happen again!

It was out of line for FBI Director Christopher Wray to question whether President Trump was hit by a bullet. Wray continues to weaponize the FBI against President Trump, so I was glad to join Laura Ingraham to set the record straight. Instead of further tarnishing the FBI’s once nonpartisan and prestigious reputation as America’s primary law enforcement agency, Chris Wray should focus on directing his agency to get to the bottom of how a 20-year-old outsmarted Secret Service and nearly killed a former President.

Biden addressed the nation last month, further cementing his legacy as a failed president who caused the largest border crisis our country has ever seen, created historically high levels of inflation, allowed criminals to run rampant, and tainted America’s position on the world stage.

In the address, he continued slurring his words and spoke in incomplete sentences. I have been sounding the alarm on Biden’s cognitive decline for years. His entire presidency has been a giant cover-up by Kamala Harris, Jill Biden, Nancy Pelosi, the Obamas, and the entire Democrat machine.

The self-proclaimed “party of democracy” hid Biden's declining health from the American people and then forced him off the ballot, invalidating the millions of people who selected Biden as their nominee, all while claiming to save democracy!
