The latest on what's happening with right-of-center women   Weekly Wrap August 16, 2024   This Week's Highlights   Monday Winning For Women (WFW) announced a nearly $1 million investment in a TV, mail, and digital advocacy campaign focused on advancing legislation to reduce costs for American families by cutting through bureaucratic red tape and curbing the excessive regulations imposed by the current Administration. As reported in NBC News, the ads will run in three House districts represented by WFW-endorsed leaders, Reps. Young Kim (CA-40), Michelle Steel (CA-45), and Jen Kiggans (VA-02), and make up the largest issue advocacy campaign WFW has run so far this cycle. You can watch the ads here, here, and here. Tuesday Rep. Celeste Maloy officially won the Republican primary in Utah's 2nd Congressional District after the Utah State Supreme Court rejected a request from her challenger to count ballots that were not postmarked in accordance with state law. Maloy released a video that not only thanked her supporters, but doubled down on her commitment to work for everyone in her district, including those who did not vote for her. We have been proud to back Maloy this cycle and look forward to continuing that support through November. Wednesday Ahead of Alaska's primary election next Tuesday, WFW PAC-backed Lieutenant Governor Nancy Dahlstrom shared an important endorsement from President Trump. If elected, both Dahlstrom and Trump will secure the border after four years of disastrous policy from Border Czar Kamala Harris. Thursday Asked about whether he would be open to having former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley join him on the campaign trail, President Trump said, "She's a good woman...I'd love to have her go around and campaign." Last month, Haley delivered a strong message to the millions of Americans who supported her in the 2024 Republican primary. Haley laid out a policy-focused case for why Republicans need to unify heading into November, even if they do not agree with former President Trump on everything.   In The News   Alaska Beacon: Peltola still holds fundraising cash advantage in U.S. House race, new figures show Mississippi Valley Publishing: Rep.
