2. CAROLINA JOURNAL: Supporting women in need should be common ground for NC legislators
"Whether activists or the media care to admit it or not, pregnancy centers across the nation provide countless women invaluable care and support. Despite these centersâ compassionate mission to support women, they suffer acts of vandalism and endure relentless political attacks by abortion activists, like the recent protest outside of a Raleigh pregnancy center that aimed to cancel their lease. Now, pro-abortion legislators in North Carolina are further harassing centers with demands for financial records beyond the reports already submitted to the state. After objecting to funding these centers at all, due to their faith-based affiliation, theyâre now attempting to intimidate centers from even applying for grants by burying them in paperwork."

3. DAILY SIGNAL: The Woke 2024 Olympics: Where Men Were Allowed to Punch Women
"This past weekend, two biologically male boxers won gold medals in womenâs boxing at the Paris Olympics. On Friday, Imane Khelif of Algeria won the gold medal in the womenâs welterweight division. On Saturday, Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan won the gold medal in the womenâs featherweight division. As reported by Boxing News, the oldest boxing publication in the world: 'Khelif has documented male XY chromosomes. Khelifâalong with Lin Yu-ting, of Taiwanâwas banned from boxing at the world championships last year, this because of the fact that Khelif, and Yu-ting, was proven to be biological male.' Why did the International Olympic Committee allow biological men to box women?"

5. ABC 8 NEWS: Title IX case begins against Hanover School Board for banning transgender student from athletics
"A high-profile case against the Hanover County School Board began on Wednesday â about a month after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a Title IX lawsuit after the board allegedly banned an 11-year-old transgender student from her schoolâs tennis team. The case is still in its early stages, so Wednesdayâs hearing just had to do with the time-sensitive component â the upcoming fall school sports season. While there may not be a deadline for justice, there is a deadline for sports tryouts â and with school starting up all across the country, the fall athletics season is rapidly approaching."

WEEKLY PRAYER: FREEDOM
LORD, you have blessed us with a spiritual liberty that is so wonderful and beyond description, that it can only be understood through experiencing a life-giving relationship with Christ. However, we also recognize that in your grace, you have blessed our country with a political liberty that enables us to openly proclaim the experience of a life lived in the freedom of the Gospel.
LORD, as individuals and as a nation, may we never take the inalienable right of religious freedom for granted. Right now our country has faced a rapid increase in the number of attacks made against this cherished right. We have seen groups across our public arena increase in boldness and frequency their smears against religious liberty. They claim it is bigotry, when we know it is the security of the greatest of all possible loves.
Be with your people and our country as it continues to protect the constitutional right protected by our nationâs Founders. Be with legislators and the Supreme Court, as they determine through their actions the protection of this particular and fundamental freedom.Â
âIt was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.â (Galatians 5:1)
âFor you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.â (Galatians 5:13)
âAct as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.â (1 Peter 2:16)
Amen
