One of my main jobs, as Team Kean’s finance director, is making sure that our campaign is on track to reach our financial goals and have the money we need to keep things running smoothly. 

I wanted to give you a quick update on where we currently stand. 

I just finished going over our fundraising numbers for this month and we’re not quite where we need to be halfway through the month. We are going to need a serious surge in support before our critical end of month deadline. 

I know this is a very busy time of year, but with everything that is at stake in this election, I hope you can take a minute to lend your support to our campaign. 

As much as I’d like for these fundraising deadlines to only be a gimmick for fundraising, the truth is they aren’t. Missing our goal means cutting the budget, weakening our voter outreach programs, and not hiring as many staff as we need.

That would be devastating not just for our campaign, but for Republicans’ chances of holding onto Congress in November.
