The DOJ Just Happened To Uncover Biden-Ghostwriter Transcripts Amid Classified
Documents Probe
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has revealed the discovery of 117 pages of
transcribed discussions between President Biden and his ghostwriter during an
ongoing lawsuit.
These transcripts were used by Special Counsel Robert Hur in his
investigation of Biden's handling of classified documents.
The Oversight Project, a conservative watchdog group, highlighted this find
and is negotiating with the DOJ on how to handle this new information.
The transcripts are part of over 70 hours of recordings between Biden and his
ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer.
The Biden administration's use of executive privilege to shield these
documents has been criticized, including by former Attorney General Michael
Mukasey.
This revelation comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Biden's competency and
handling of classified information.Read More.

Biden Holds Grudge Against Pelosi, White House Defers To Kamala
President Joe Biden is still processing his exit from the 2024 presidential
race, feeling both bitter and relieved about the decision.
Biden is particularly unhappy with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom he
hasn't spoken to since being forced out of the race.
In the aftermath of this, the White House has shifted to be more deferential
to Harris's team in policy and messaging decisions.
Biden, however, still plans to campaign for Harris, particularly in
Pennsylvania and among demographics where he's popular.Read More.

Kamala Unveils Plans For Grocery Price Controls
Vice President Kamala Harris is set to announce plans for federal price
controls on food and groceries, framed as a ban on price gouging and
price-fixing.
Harris promises to implement these measures within her first 100 days in
office if elected president, directing the Federal Trade Commission to
investigate and penalize "big corporations" violating government rules.
The Democratic nominee will specifically target the meat industry, which she
deems as having a history of illegal price control.
This economic policy speech will mark Harris's first major policy
announcement since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee in July.Read

Tim Walz Lied About His DUI While Running For Congress
Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, was arrested for drunk
driving in 1995 in Nebraska.
Court and police records show Walz had a blood alcohol level of .128, above
the legal limit, and was driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone.
In his 2006 congressional campaign, Walz's team repeatedly made false
statements about the incident, claiming he wasn't drinking and that hearing
loss caused him to fail a sobriety test.
The campaign also falsely stated that Walz was allowed to drive himself to
jail when, in fact, he was transported by a state trooper.
Walz has since acknowledged the facts of the case, admitting during his 2018
gubernatorial campaign that he had been drinking and driving.
The discrepancies between the 2006 campaign statements and the actual events
have resurfaced as Walz faces renewed scrutiny as the vice presidential nominee.

Democratic Campaigns Have A Long History Of Using Google Ads To Manipulate
News Coverage
Democratic campaigns, including those of Kamala Harris, Elissa Slotkin, Adam
Schiff, and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), have been
using Google Search ads to manipulate news headlines and article descriptions.
This tactic involves promoting real news links but displaying alternate
headlines and subtexts crafted by the campaigns.
Examples include Slotkin's campaign targeting opponent Mike Rogers with a
fictitious headline and Schiff's campaign altering a Fox News article headline
about Steve Garvey.
The DSCC used this strategy to target Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Rick
Scott on the topic of Social Security.
While Google Search ads are labeled as sponsored posts, critics argue this
practice is deceptive to voters seeking information about candidates or races.
Some news outlets, including the Guardian, have expressed concern about this
practice and its implications for their brand and journalistic integrity.Read

U.S. Park Police Face Critical Staffing Shortage, Unable To Adequately Guard
National Landmarks
The U.S. Park Police (USPP) is facing severe staffing shortages, with current
levels at their lowest since 1975.
This understaffing has led to safety concerns for both officers and the
public at national landmarks in Washington D.C., New York City, and San
Francisco.
Recent incidents, such as the violent protests at Union Station in Washington
D.C., have highlighted the agency's inability to adequately respond due to
limited resources.
Republican senators John Barrasso and Ted Cruz have criticized the Department
of Interior and National Park Service for neglecting the USPP's needs.
The USPP union is pushing for legislation to address the staffing crisis but
claims both political parties have neglected the agency.
The staffing shortage is affecting various responsibilities of the USPP,
including patrolling federal landmarks and policing migrant shelters on federal
property.Read More.

What’s Next
What do the American people care about? According to recent polling, the
economy and immigration remain their top concerns heading into the 2024
presidential election.
And that is why Vice President Kamala Harris is currently attempting to
differentiate herself from President Biden.
Harris has been critical in shaping the Biden administration's economic and
immigration policies.
These policies have caused pain for the American people. Savings have
decreased, debt has increased, and chaos reigns at the southern border.
Kamala cannot run on this. If she calls for a continuation of Biden’s
disastrous economic policies or doesn’t pledge to curb illegal immigration, she
will be abandoned by voters.
But Kamala’s record on both the economy and the border is awful. No one should
be surprised by this; she has been one of the most radical people in American
politics for quite some time now.
She has to run against her record.
Her pivot to the center should be viewed as what it is: a disingenuous and
profoundly cynical ploy to convince people that she will do the job correctly
this time.
Video of the Day
Biden says Kamala won’t distance herself from his economic policies.
