Folks, we came up short of our mid-month fundraising goal last night, so give me a moment to explain why this could be catastrophic.

Last night’s fundraising deadline was going to help boost our ads next week across the state. That’s why we set mid-month fundraising benchmarks to make sure that we’re on track to meet our goals and fund our campaign.

We came up short of our goal last night, which means that we’re going to have a tough time funding our grassroots operations. So if we don’t fill the gap, we’ll have to cut parts of our voter contact plan AND scale back our ads just when we should be boosting them.

There’s good news, though: Our team has issued an EMERGENCY 24-hour mid-month deadline extension to get us back on track.

So if everyone reading this email chipped in just $5 or $10, we’d be able to bridge the gap in our budget before midnight. Can I count on you to rush a quick donation?
