We have important news
to share,
John: GivingTuesdayNow
– a global day of giving and unity –
will take place on May 5 as an emergency response
to COVID-19.
In times of crisis,
children are always among the most vulnerable
– and this pandemic is no exception.
Millions of children, here in the United States
and around the world, who were already facing dire risks to their health, education and safety, are the ones being most impacted by this virus.
That's why, in just
eight days, we'll come together on
GivingTuesdayNow to take part in an outpouring of
generosity that will support children grappling with everything from the coronavirus pandemic to malnutrition to violent conflict – support that is urgently
needed.
But we know this
difficult time isn't the easiest moment to make a
gift. So we wanted to reach out ahead of May 5 in
hopes that you might be able to save up even just
a few dollars each day toward desperately needed
supplies like books and food. For the children enduring unimaginable hardships around the world, any
amount you're able to spare would go a long way.
So please, will you sign our pledge
to save a few dollars – or whatever you can
– between now and May 5 toward a donation
for vulnerable children on GivingTuesdayNow? It
really would mean the world to millions of
children.
Thank you so much for
all you do to create lifelong change for children.
In moments like this, we couldn't be more
grateful.
