GivingTuesdayNow – a global day of giving and unity – will take place on
May 5 as an emergency response to COVID-19.

In times of crisis, children are always among the most vulnerable – and
this pandemic is no exception. Millions of children, here in the United
States and around the world, are facing dire risks to their health,
education and safety due to the impacts of this virus. That's why, in just eight days, we'll come together on GivingTuesdayNow
to take part in an outpouring of generosity that will support children,
families and communities grappling with the coronavirus pandemic –
support that is urgentlyneeded.

But we know this difficult time isn't the easiest moment to make a gift.
So we wanted to reach out ahead of May 5 in hopes that you might be able
to save up even just a few dollars each day toward desperately needed
supplies like books and food. For the children impacted most by this
heartbreaking crisis, any amount you're able to spare would go a long
way.
