2023 was the hottest year in 125,000 years, folks, but due to the accelerating climate crisis, scientists believe there’s a roughly 95% chance 2024 will crush that record.

Just to put that into perspective, 125,000 years ago was pre-agriculture, pre-writing, pre-civilization. We’re talking caves and Neanderthals.
