It's almost our big day, John: We're celebrating 32 incredible years of the Innocence Project!

For more than three decades, the Innocence Project has been at the forefront of reforming the criminal justice system, using DNA and other scientific advancements to reveal and reverse wrongful conviction. But we wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the remarkable support from advocates like you.

That's why I'm personally inviting you to join us in celebrating our very special 32nd birthday. With less than two weeks until our special day, will you please make a monthly donation today?

Unlike other birthdays, John, you don't have to stress about showing up empty-handed to our celebration. In fact, if you become a monthly donor today, we'll give you a gift: a limited-edition Innocence Project 32nd anniversary hoodie/shirt!

So please, will you pledge monthly to help us reach our 250 new-monthly-donor goal and help us continue our work to free the innocent? Your monthly commitment to our organization today will help us with all areas of our work — from restoring freedom, to transforming systems, to advancing the innocence movement.

From day one, we've helped free and exonerate hundreds of people — and we'll continue to free hundreds more in the years to come, but we’ll need your support to do so.

Thank you for celebrating this milestone with us,

The Innocence Project works to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions, and create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the organization is now an independent nonprofit. Our work is guided by science and grounded in anti-racism.
