Here at Maine Conservation Voters (MCV), we are committed to building a clean energy system that works for all of us. With members by our side, we prioritize ramping up homegrown solar and offshore wind power so we can reduce our reliance on dirty, expensive fossil fuels.

Meeting the climate crisis at the scale that science and justice demand isn’t just about energy—it’s about good paying jobs, economic revitalization, and community well-being that builds a sustainable future for both the people and the environment.

Alongside ensuring the implementation of responsibly developed clean energy in Maine, your support will help MCV:

• Hold elected officials accountable. Each year, MCV’s Environmental Scorecard highlights legislators’ votes on critical environmental and democracy bills and gives you the information you need to help elect conservation champions.
• Advocate for strong environmental policies. Together with legislative champions and partners from the Environmental Priorities Coalition, MCV works to pass a slate of pro-environment and pro-climate bills each year.
• Protect voting rights and strengthen our democracy. MCV works for a fair and just voting system – one where the voting booth is equally accessible to all eligible Maine voters.
