You've heard us talk about the Lockdown Generation before. As a parent, it pains me to think about the violent reality that kids are facing in schools today.

All our kids should be able to grow up in a world where they feel safe in school — a world where they are not weighed down by the trauma of active shooter drills and the what-ifs that come with them.

We MUST break the cycle of violence. It shouldn't be on our kids to know what to do in the event of a shooting. It should be on our lawmakers to pass common-sense gun safety legislation that will prevent a shooting from happening. I'm ready to fight like hell to push our lawmakers to do just that — are you with me?

Please, make a MATCHED donation before the midnight deadline to help Brady hit our $100,000 goal so we can finally get guns out of our schools. Gun violence is a solvable issue — but only if we all do our part to make those solutions a reality.
