Cory Booker here, and I'm reaching out tonight for two reasons:

First, because we need a voice like Debbie Mucarsel-Powell's in the Senate.

And second — because in our fight to keep the Senate majority blue this November, her race in Florida could make or break our chances of success.

I'll explain more in a moment, but if you're with us in the fight to stop the GOP from taking Senate control, will you please chip in now to help Debbie reach her $3 million goal by midnight and stay on track to flip Florida and keep the Senate blue?

To address that first point, Debbie's record speaks for itself — and after working day in, day out for Florida families in the House, she's now running an authentically grassroots campaign to keep up that record in the Senate. 

She'll fight to put an end to gun violence and champion reproductive rights for all. And in our current political climate, her voice as a Latina and an immigrant could not come at a better time, so it's no wonder she's starting to close in on her opponent's razor-thin lead in the polls.

But with regard to my second point, one of the best chances we Senate Democrats have of saving our majority is by flipping the Florida Senate seat blue. And based on all the reports I've heard, the tide really is turning in Florida — and Debbie absolutely has just what it takes to win.

Now, I realize winning this race won't be any simple task, but it's not for a lack of blue support in the Sunshine State.

Rather, it's because her opponent has a MASSIVE fortune behind him, and no qualms about using it to flood the airwaves with false promises and heinous attacks against anyone who might get in his way.

That's why, when I heard Debbie was tracking to fall short of her $3 million goal, I knew I had to lend a helping hand ahead of today's major deadline — so friend: Will you please chip in $5, or anything you can spare today, to help Debbie close the gap, compete with her opponent's outrageous wealth, and help me and my Democratic colleagues keep the Senate blue?
