Hi,

The U.S. emits more carbon dioxide per person than any other country on the planet except for Saudi Arabia. And that’s a fact!

Average global temperatures have been rising since the 1950’s. And that’s a fact!

Biased information, half-truths and lies have no place in today’s dangerous world where we’re all working to protect ourselves, our loved ones and our planet from an uncertain future.

That’s why, for our 50th anniversary, Earth Day Network partnered with USAFacts as they released their State of The Earth <[link removed]> report, a free source for up-to-date and understandable data on energy, environment and climate, answering questions such as:

- How has air quality changed in the U.S. since 1980?
- What is the government really doing to manage our environment?
- How many animals are endangered right now?
- And what is the largest source of emissions in the U.S.? Turns out it’s transportation.

As Americans, we pay for and own — but rarely see — the depth of information gathered by our own government via agencies such as the EPA, NASA, NOAA and more. Yet staying informed on the issues shaping American life is key to being a responsible citizen, activist and voter — ready to take charge and create the future we need.

As the 2020 election draws near, let’s check out and truly see what the data is telling us. Take a look at the State of the Earth <[link removed]>.

Only then can we VOTE EARTH <[link removed]>.

For truth,

Earth Day Network
