Dear John, No matter who we are, what we look like, or who we love, we know our communities are stronger when we are free to be our authentic selves, work together, and show up for each other. But an organized effort to divide us has pushed laws to remove our trans and queer loved ones from public life, to ban the resources that help our kids learn, to force Black people, immigrants and LGBTQ+ people out of our jobs and homes, and to control whether and when we grow our families. This November, there’s a critical election that will determine whether LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones will have the freedom to learn, thrive, and be themselves. Join our Love Votes movement and take the pledge to be a PFLAG Voter. |

When love votes, it votes for… … empowering kids to think critically and make informed decisions… … protecting accurate, honest, and inclusive books and resources that encourage kids to learn and ask questions… … giving everyone the access to the healthcare they need and letting families and doctors figure out what’s best for their unique situations… … protecting democracy and ensuring all voters can access tools and resources they need to meaningfully participate in the election process… and …protecting the freedom to live authentically, from the kitchen table to the classroom to the boardroom. Take the PFLAG Voter pledge today, and then share our Love Votes resources at pflag.org/LoveVotes. PFLAG is where LGBTQ+ people, parents, families and allies come together, and together we’ll keep leading with love right to the polls, for every LGBTQ+ person. |
