As the Democratic National Convention meets next week, Kamala Harris hopes it will be an opportunity to recast herself as a moderate. Harris has launched "a highly choreographed effort to define herself - in some cases, redefine herself - as a different kind of Democrat," insiders have told Axios. "Harris won't say it this bluntly in public, but her advisers do so privately: She wants to break with Biden on issues on which he's unpopular." Her campaign hopes next week's DNC will be the new Harris's coming out party. |

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) broke with the dominant transgender ideology last month when, in response to a media inquiry, they declined to endorse "any organization's practice recommendations for the treatment of adolescents with gender dysphoria," due to the "considerable uncertainty as to the long-term efficacy" and "low quality/low certainty" evidence. This reverses the organization's previous position; in 2021, the ASPS "actively opposed [state] legislation seeking to criminalize actions by physicians and guardians when minors receive gender affirmation surgery," according to their website. |

Mainstream media outlets have been running cover for Democrats for years, but now a top Democrat is faking endorsements from prolific newspapers and networks. According to multiple reports, Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign has been editing Google ads to give the impression that major media outlets are endorsing or supporting her policies and presidential campaign. The Harris campaign has attached its ads to news sources which appear in Google searches and edited the attached text to make it appear as though the targeted news sources are supporting the Harris campaign, although once the links are clicked, they redirect internet users to the original news articles. |

Catholic Charities Asks SCOTUS to Resolve First Amendment Questions |

A Catholic nonprofit organization is seeking support from the U.S. Supreme Court after its own state's highest court deemed the group "non-religious." The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled earlier this year that Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Superior does not qualify as a religious organization and is thus not exempt from paying state unemployment tax. Now, Catholic Charities is taking the case before the U.S. Supreme Court. |
