If there's one thing I've learned from running for office twice, it's that I [expletive] hate asking for money.

It's miserable. You work hard. No politician has any right to your money. Yet we send emails every day telling you the world is going to end if you don't give everything you have to political campaigns.

So why do I do it? Because we have no other choice.

In order to win, we need to purchase ads. I don't have a base of rich donors I can get money from whenever I want. We're a campaign of the grassroots.

Last cycle, we narrowly beat Trump aide Max Miller, but we were outspent 10:1. We simply need better fundraising to win this cycle.?
